How should I burn my SHAE candle?

On the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly towards the edges of the jar wherever practical. This helps encourage an even burn during subsequent use.

Keep the wick trimmed and the wax surface free from wick trimmings or debris.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

How long should I burn my candle at one time?

We recommend burning your candle for approximately 2 to 4 hours at a time, depending on its size.

Avoid excessively long burn periods and always follow the care instructions supplied with your candle.

Should I trim the wick?

Yes. Trim the wick before each burn to approximately 5 to 6 mm.

A properly trimmed wick helps maintain a cleaner, steadier flame and reduces excessive soot or mushrooming.

Can I reuse my SHAE candle jar?

Absolutely. Once your candle is finished, the jar can be cleaned and reused for storage, stationery, makeup brushes, cotton pads, small plants or simply as a decorative object, depending on the jar design and material.

Please ensure all wax and wick components are properly removed and the jar is thoroughly cleaned before repurposing it.

Does SHAE offer candle refills?
